Abid Dharamsey : Hello Everyone, I am Abid Dharamsey, founder of Bison Creations. I am from Karachi, Pakistan. I have had a fair share of seeing the different phases of my city. My age is 36 years.
Digital Guruji : What started your Entrepreneurial journey?
Abid Dharamsey : I always wanted to do something of my own. I have helped my father in his business but due to differences in our industries, I had to rise from scratch when I moved to the digital media industry. I have worked round the clock to reach here. My entrepreneurial journey began when I realized that self-fulfillment is necessary. When I started working independently in the digital industry, I was still not satisfied. I wanted to do something big, something that brings more satisfaction than just earning money, so I started Bison Creations.
Digital Guruji : How was Bison Creations founded?
Abid Dharamsey : I was working in the SEO industry before starting Bison Creations. I had a good share in the SEO industry, but I knew I have to achieve more to be satisfied. I was seeing young and fresh blood sweating in a 9-5 job with dreams of becoming millionaires one day. A small share of this young blood dares to start their own business, but miserably fail due to lack of resources and experience. So, I started Bison Creations as a full-service digital agency.

Abid Dharamsey : I have been working in the digital industry for a long time. Bison Creations was always my dream. I just did it with the added spice of empowering young people, and that has proven to be a gamechanger.

Abid Dharamsey : Bison Creations is a full-service digital agency. We optimize the business websites on search engines, build online communities, engage social media audiences, create a digital presence for businesses, etc. If you ask in the technical terms, that’s search engine optimization, website building, designing and developing e-commerce stores, social media accounts handling, social media management, content writing and marketing, digital marketing, etc.
Digital Guruji : What were the challenges that you faced initially and how did you overcome them?
Abid Dharamsey : The initial challenge was to build credibility in the market because when Bison Creations was launched, the competition was tough already. I overcame this challenge by hiring experts for each department and supervising all projects individually. It was tough initially. There were days when I forgot my meals and nights when I slept not more than 3 hours. But we did it, and I am proud of my team.

Abid Dharamsey : Yes, definitely! I have trained 100+ young entrepreneurs and helped them establish their businesses. At Bison Creations, I have trained uncountable young people along with the assistance of other experts. Our vision is to empower the youth and move them towards sustainable financial systems. This is the foundation of Bison Creations.

Abid Dharamsey : My business understanding has been impacted by my father’s farsightedness, and I am very thankful to him for all he has done. From the industrial side, my journey has been impacted by Brian Dean.

Abid Dharamsey : My journey is full of struggle, achievements, and failures. You cannot win if you do not have the stamina to face failure. I am more than satisfied with my achievements. My most significant success to date is Bison Creations. For me, success is to bring happiness and peace to the lives of other people.
Digital Guruji : What were you doing before choosing this field?
Abid Dharamsey : I have helped my father in his business for some time. I used to work as an SEO executive back in 2012.

Abid Dharamsey : When COVID-19 happened and the world economy crashed, many of our clients were about to give up. It wasn’t exactly a fall, but for a moment, we felt that Bison Creations will not be functional with the loss of clients. At that time, we geared ourselves up and not only motivated our existing clients, but also expanded our services to 11 new sectors. We signed up 30+ new clients. This led to my biggest achievement. I not only made Bison Creations succeed through this tough time but also helped our clients succeed through the pandemic. Today, we are bigger and stronger than ever.

Abid Dharamsey : My family has been doing business in different industries for decades. I have done B.Com and started working during my education years.

Abid Dharamsey : You cannot do anything without the strength that comes from your closest circle. My family and friends have given me power and motivation during my most rough times. I am thankful to them for all the support.
Digital Guruji : If you had a magic stick, which are the two things you would change in the world?
Abid Dharamsey : I would make sure that each child gets free education and skill-based learning. Secondly, I would ensure that no living being on this planet sleeps on an empty stomach.
Digital Guruji : What is the part of your life experience you would alter if you had the chance to?
Abid Dharamsey : If I could, I would move back to 2012 and start Bison Creations when I was working as an SEO executive.

Abid Dharamsey : Nothing can beat one-on-one training to learn digital marketing. Work somewhere, gain experience, learn from the experts!
Digital Guruji : If you had the chance to start your career over again, what would you do differently?
Abid Dharamsey : I would spend my early years working at different digital agencies under reputed names. The more experience you gain, the better.

Abid Dharamsey : To be honest, sunrises inspire me the most. Gary Vaynerchuk’s work has influenced me the most. His straightforward style and realistic view of things are eye-opening. My favorite quote is also from Gary, “Life shrinks and expands on the proportion of your willingness to take risks and try new things.”
Digital Guruji : Tell us how a day in your life looks like? Your schedule for a day right from the time you get up till you hit the bed at night.
Abid Dharamsey : I live on a very tight schedule, but I make sure that my family and health come first. My morning routine includes meditation and exercise, and some family time. My work starts from 9 AM and continues till 8-9 PM. I make sure to get good sleep because that is vital for a healthy brain.
Digital Guruji : If you were given a choice of meeting any person you want, who will be that person?
Abid Dharamsey : I would meet myself – my own teen years and give myself the advice of learning more skills than just learning from school.

Abid Dharamsey : My biggest learning is that nothing stays constant in this world. To eradicate fear and uncertainty, you need to establish systems that make the results certain and constant for your desired timeline. I have also learned that people who have been your support through tough times are the ones who would clap at your success too. That is your genuine circle.

Abid Dharamsey : I religiously follow digital magazines. I am also very active on social media and keep an eye on what is trending. There are many tools available to find the trends. Twitter is a great free source.
Digital Guruji : If you were to write a book about yourself, how would you name it?
Abid Dharamsey : You have pulled me to think about this. I have never thought about it but if I would ever write a book about myself, I would name it “Abid Dharamsey – Through Failures and Downs”, because I have learned the most from my failures.

Abid Dharamsey : Bison Creations is working on happy notes. My future goals include bringing Bison Creations to a point where at least 1/3rd of our profits go into charitable school funds. I want to establish a skill-based learning school for the underprivileged and unprivileged.

Abid Dharamsey : Invest your time in learning a skill, but don’t forget your books too.
